I started my activity as a freelancer in1983, initially as a photographer with a passion born from a toy “box”, size 6x6, that my mother, then a Life Magazine journalist, gave me.
But family influences went beyond photography. I studied graphics and communication and towards the end of the 80’s I ventured, with other colleagues, into business, after having attended various courses in QA, Iso9000, RSPP.
The years in graphics will continue, communication and artistic direction with photography always present for Fashion, Portraiture,Tourist Catalogues and Reportage. I had a brief spell in the world of cinema in 1990, as an account and location manager with PI&C for several documentaries and films. In '91, with two partners (Monica FRAVIA and Pietro PAPA) I return to the world of communication and we decide to tackle not only conception and design but also the production (Studio and laboratory for digitalisation and printing systems). We work for Pharmaceutical Companies, Small Businesses, Museums and Publishing Houses.

We grow, change location and specialise in pre-press and exhibition stands, but above all museum installations. We manage spaces and events (for example: Selection of Lazio Wines; International Food Exhibition in NYC; ...) for the promotion of agriculture and wine for Arsial.
My work decisions are managed by events or creation, I start various consultation projects for the management of events in public and private spaces (Italian Geographic Society, AGI, Dufoto, British Council).
I also start my own personal collection of ancient and modern pictures which today has over 50,000 images.
I also follow some companies for the opening of commercial activities abroad, Cierre edizioni to set up the branch in Egypt in Cairo; Margay de osa in Costa Rica which opens a Diving School for Institutions and Individuals; Borneo Travel for relations between the Italian partner and the Malaysian office; Silvio Berger to switch the "Bergé" business from Switzerland to Hong Kong.
I keep shooting but I focus on personal projects.
I open an exhibition space in a trendy area of Rome (350m2 in SanLorenzo) and start the Exhibition and Event activities concerning the main clients as well as curating exhibitions of Roman and non-Roman photographers. I continue to be involved in exhibitions and shows at the National Institute for Graphics, in trade fairs / exhibitions for customers such as the Arsial-Regione Lazio, the creation of museum spaces at the ICPL and the Medagliere Palazzo Massimo collection.
My passion for art, museums and photography festivals around the world stimulates me and I am confronted with many different ways of seeing and perceiving photography and communication.
In 2006 I was called upon by the army to serve during the Olympic Games in Turin, and since then I have begun to participate in specialisation courses in security for the Protezione Civile and I have continued to make myself available for CIMIC activities with the armed forces at home for preparatory training to Afghanistan and Lebanon. I have various experiences during the various emergencies that have shaken Italy in the last 10 years, from various exercises and PC activities in the field.The Intervention at the "General States of Volunteering" and thecoordination activity at the Volunteerdesk in "Sala Italia" for the DPC, (Abruzzo earthquake, funeral of the Holy Father, snow emergency).
I close the company and in 2008 the FareFotografia Cultural Association, Nuove vie, was informally born for Photography. Formally confirmed in 2012, we manage a gallery / studio near Testaccio.
In recent years the exhibitions managed as a curator, producer, or simply as an organizer range between known and emerging authors (eg. Araki, Rastelli, DeAngelis, Dormino, Dottori, Iasevoli, Ventura) and public and private spaces / galleries (ex. Laboratory Museum of Contemporary Art, Ist. National for Graphics, Palazzo Massimo, Spazio Fare, Italian Geographic Society, Circolo Palazzo Barberni, FotoLeggendo, Angelica Library, Oriental Art Museum, FotoGrafia-Festival International of Rome).
I close my business in Rome with a bang, in fact I had the pleasure of being at the helm of the “Month della Fotografia di Roma - MFR19" and to have given life to particular initiatives such as seven editions of “Diffuse Photography”. Now stable in Florence the last edition is issued in
2020 in via Maggio with the patronage of Comune and Confesercenti -

Didactics:
Over the years I have collaborated with various structures, for example Spazio fare, FareFotografia, Isf-Ci as well as on behalf of various Agencies (see Prospekt) during important photography festivals (Visa pour immagine) or directly with the organisers of the InternationalPhotography Festival of Rome (Marco Delogu) structuring training courses, lectio and portfolio readings. One of the last readings was done on line with colleagues Loredana de Pace and Carlo Pettinelli during the pandemic.
Sports and Recreational Activities:
I have practiced competitive swimming and mountaineering (trekking), but over time I have also had experiences in American football, tennis and basketball, taking away various satisfactions.
Among other activities, I followed the Italian company Margay de Osa in CostaRica for PR and I was president of the Moto Morini Club (based in Rome) for 10 years, participating in fairs and exhibitions.
